Ellie infiltrates an aquarium, encountering a guard dog and finding evidence of Abby's group, including Owen Moore's Firefly pendant. She confronts Owen and Mel, demanding Abby's location. During a struggle, Ellie accidentally kills Owen, then intentionally kills the pregnant Mel, causing Ellie to have a panic attack. Tommy and Jesse arrive and take a distraught Ellie away.

Later, at the Pinnacle Theater, Ellie expresses regret that Abby is still alive. Tommy tries to reassure her that their revenge is complete after killing Abby's friends. However, their conversation is interrupted when Abby ambushes them, killing Jesse and injuring Tommy. Abby then confronts Ellie, expressing disappointment that Ellie and Tommy didn't leave her alone after she killed Joel, and prepares to shoot Ellie.
