Iron stance? What's that? Once again showcasing how that doesn't exist with Alvin around, even in outrageous cases like CS Victor.
His extremely aggressive and smart AI is still an issue, however I made some observations about the "very likely to backstep" behavior, and of course Alvin has a tool to perfectly take advantage of this as well!
This type of AI almost always either attempts to backstep or guard multi-hit attacks, and if the latter happens it's easy to bait a backstep afterwards.
The backstep is what we want, as it's the one consistent action that leads to idle time which gives a chance to land clean hits to wear off that iron stance.
I do that with Wide Shot, as as long as that triggers a counter from the 2nd hit on it'll always result in Zetsuei.
Perfect guarding Zetsuei gives me just the right amount of time to Might Charge 2 to make my next attack considered a weak hit, and as I already broke Victor's IS once, it's easier to do so a second time as a single Maximum Trigger just barely gets the job done!
The combo itself is pretty basic stuff from me, as Majuushou's end lag doesn't allow enough time to charge for a weakness reset I went for "efficiency with some of the fancy stuff". And as this is still considered a "fun run" (that and I've broken traditional solo rules in this run in 2 different ways already before), I took the liberty of using solo OVL to finish him off with a Hi Ougi!
The meaning of the video anyway is to showcase the strategy to get past the monstrous iron stance anyway 💀 Although I did get lucky as he immediately approached me which made Wide Shot deal more towards the IS.
Channel's still on life support but I've made a decision that might keep it alive for at least a couple of months soon tm
