When it comes to going to video game conventions, finding amazing games has to be one of the best parts. Over the years, I've found some amazing games, killer consoles, and hidden gems. No matter how many conventions I attend in the future, I'll never have another first convention, or first pickup. I've been feeling nostalgic, so let's take a look at what our Good friend @LindaTheGAMERGal got as her First Gaming Convention pickup at the first gaming convention she attended.

What was her first retro gaming convention?
Linda - The first retro game show that I went to was Emerald Coast Con, technically, with my channel. The game that I bought was a PSP game and it was, um crap, I'm trying to remember. It was Unchained or something (I discovered later it was Unchained Blades). It was an RPG. Unchained something, yeah, I can't remember exactly.

About Unchained Blades for the PlayStation Portable:
From Wikipedia:
The game is played as a dungeon crawler role-playing video game, similar to Wizardry, but with a greater emphasis on story. The purpose of the game is to direct the game's party through mazes and labyrinths while defeating opposing monster parties. A party can contain up to four characters.[8] Additionally, it is possible to recruit enemy monsters into the player's party to assist them, and each character is allowed to have four monsters support them, allowing for a party size of up to twenty characters.

Have you ever attended a retro video game convention or swap meet? If you have, what was the first one you ever attended? Did you buy anything? And if so what was it? Share your story with us in the comments!
