13Join the Revolution. Hello everyone, and welcome to Chapter 35 of the Tome of Silver. The show where I randomly select a game from my collection, review it, and add it to an ever-growing ranking list.
I still remember the first day I got my Playstation 2. One of my family members told me there was a yard sale down the street, and thinking “ah, what the heck”, I took a stroll over to the house. A gentleman there had his PlayStation 2 up for sale for only $10. Obviously, that was a steal, and I purchased it in a heartbeat. It didn’t have a memory card, but it came with two controllers, two sports games which admittedly I couldn’t care less about, and a little game called Red Faction. At that point in my life, the extent of my knowledge of the Red Faction series was seeing a single promotional image for Red Faction Armageddon in an X-Box Magazine and made the rash assumption that it was just another dime-a-dozen military shooter, and never gave the series any other consideration.
After buying the PS2, I bought Samurai Warriors 2 very soon after, and basically sunk all my time into that, never really giving Red Faction a proper shake. However, when Red Faction was selected for this video, I was finally able to play it through for the first time. Was it worth the wait? Grab your mining suit, arm yourself for the rebellion, and let’s turn the page to Red Faction for the Playstation 2.
