The Sim Racing 500, a full-distance Indy 500 in 1998-spec CART cars, returned for 2023!

This time, rather than being in the depths of winter, the race took place one day before the real Indy 500. Also, much like the real Indy 500, the race was now part of a championship, the American Monoposto Championship 2023.

I was racing as a one-off participant, racing again in the number 34 Super Gazelle car, with Kevin Peters (who had race engineered two of my WMSC III America races) as my teammate, who was taking part in the full championship.

Could I beat my 2022 results of qualifying 21st, and finishing 4th?
